We are recruiting for an Office Accounts Administrator to join a Leighton Buzzard based company. Please note, this position is FULLY OFFICE BASED, with NO remote working. Our client are the market leader within their sector, and they have multiple offices, however, you would be based at their Leighton Buzzard site. Working Hours: 08:30am to 17:00pm, Monday to Friday (no hybrid or remote working). Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to support with the day-to-day office activities This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a friendly environment. Key Responsibilities Include: Assisting the Credit Control Manager with resolving invoice queries. Contacting debtors via telephone and email. Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate records. Processing and allocating customer payments. Processing orders and assisting with shipping and receiving books as and when required. Working closely with all departments within the business Other Ad-Hoc duties associated with the position. Ideal Candidate will have: Xero accounting system knowledge would be preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication skills. The ability to self-manage. Motivated and organised approach. Willing to work alone when required (annual leave). Confident personality, able to interact with a wide selection of customer types.
