CD Estates Category procure works / services to help maintain the DWP’s Estate infrastructure. It delivers and manages contracts in a range of areas including Facilities Management (FM), Security, Furniture, Integrator services, Landlord and Lease Management (LLM), Property Legal Services, Construction Projects and Professional Services. The Estate is comprised of nearly 1000 properties which include Job Centres and Health Assessment Centres and as a result, the contracts we let are specialised to accommodate the needs of every customer that visits one of our sites and all our staff while achieving value for money for the department.

This opportunity is within the CD Estates Projects & Professional Services team and we’re looking for a commercial practitioner specifically to work within the Construction sub-category.
The role will require you to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders from respective business areas to shape how we approach the market for the requirements our stakeholders have, to run effective commercial processes that deliver excellent outcomes, and to ensure the contracts placed are managed effectively to achieve those outcomes.
