How to contribute to our vision
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support us in driving our ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate will possess production/manufacturing experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing detailed project work plans.
The Project Manager will support the Senior Project Management Officer in the successful delivery of small to large scale projects at the Hull Blade Factory, leading projects from requirements definition through to deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, managing budgets, resourcing and implementation of plans (tracking projects and associated deliverables), including risk mitigations.
Responsibilities
1. Overseeing all aspects of project execution
2. Establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks
3. Building and developing a project team to ensure maximum performance/optimal utilisation of resources
4. Creating a collaborative consultative work environment with matrix teams and workgroups cross-departmentally and cross-functionally
5. Reporting project outcomes and/or risks to stakeholders; escalating issues quickly and efficiently and ensuring work plans adapted accordingly
Some of the typical on-site projects and responsibilities:
1. Implementation and execution of automation systems for processes and operations
2. Supporting our Real Estate projects with expansion building projects and leasing with Real Estate
3. Supporting Technology Transfer projects by bringing in the next generation of blade
4. Implementation of tooling and equipment to support the production requirements on site
5. Working with cross-functional teams to identify ILP (Industrial Logic Plan) and create projects to validate and improve the onsite process and delivery
What You Need to Make a Difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:
1. Strong project management experience - proven success in management of concurrent projects
2. Experienced in project management platforms and implementation
3. Team building/collaborative working – experienced in bringing cross-functional teams together to deliver projects
4. Management of budgets
5. Reporting to senior management and stakeholders
6. Educated to degree level in a relevant subject is advantageous
7. Experience working in project manager role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
