To ensure joint working and shared learning across all sites supporting care staff to delivery high quality care and ensuring that our home and care facilities offer safe and therapeutic environments. To oversee the management of the services occupancy, marketing and revenue. Assist the Director of Care with budget information utilising best practice to inform, for example, establishment levels, skill mix, day-to-day staffing levels, etc. Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of specified business locations. Lead and manage a number of Registered Managers across the Group and collaborate closely with them to achieve and maintain and improve overall CQC ratings and LA bandings. Develop relations with senior health and social care leaders, to grow and develop our care services. Effectively lead and coach Registered Managers to improve both personal and professional development. Support Registered Managers and staff to understand performance and implement changes to policy and practices. To ensure all care services delivered comply with legal responsibilities under the Health and Social Care act, the Care Quality Commission regulated activities, the safe use of medicines, To represent Prestwick Care services in a committed and innovative way in external partnerships and network meetings. Promote and share best practice across care and support. Qualifications & Experience First level nurse/Registered managers award/NVQ level 4/5 in Management. Substantial management experience in the residential care sector. Strong Leadership skills. Possess a detailed understanding of care service issues including the legislative framework and Clinical Governance. Significant understanding and knowledge of the broad range of issues affecting older people including dementia. Regulatory compliance knowledge/experience. Experience of setting and managing large budgets. Demonstrable experience working under pressure whilst managing competing priorities effectively.
