Job summary
As a Senior Delivery Manager you will play a pivotal role by enabling cross-functional teams to deliver high quality digital products for DVSA. You will help teams optimise quality, improve software delivery processes, and demonstrate value for their context.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Leadership and creating an environment where teams can excel. Enabling teams, coaching them towards autonomy and self-management.
* May help teams design and implement Kanban systems, work with teams as a Scrum Master, or use core principles to design appropriate SDLC, be an expert and credible leader in any of these scenarios.
* Managing digital delivery, owning a budget, tracking and being accountable for spend.
* Improving processes that your teams rely on.
* Making impediments to delivery transparent, able to quantify and address them.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) certification and another relevant certification such as Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Kanban Management Professional (KMP 1) or equivalent.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Substantial real-world experience gained in digital product delivery as a member of a digital delivery team.
* Expert understanding of Agile and Lean principles, frameworks and practices.
* Experience with, and interest in, digital technologies.
* To be able to facilitate technical workshops, enabling a range of specialist skills to contribute.
* Experienced at using data to inform planning, able to manage complex dependencies, and adapt as necessary.

Additional Information
This role can be based in Bristol, Swansea, Leeds, Nottingham or Newcastle or Oldham. Your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. We operate a hybrid working model giving you greater flexibility about where and when you work. Our expectation is that you will spend a minimum 60% of your time at your base location. Visits to other DVSA sites or work locations count towards this.
