About the role: As a Financial Planner, you will provide high calibre, long-term tax and Lifestyle Financial Planning services to clients of Attivo. You will build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure that the client's needs are satisfied compliantly and efficiently. You will maximise new business opportunities and retain the group's growing client base. You will be an ambassador of Attivo, representing its core values and company behaviours, raising the profile of the business and the profession with internal and external stakeholders. As a business, we fully support hybrid working and have both working from home and flexible working policies. You can expect a mix of working from the office, working from home and travelling in and around the area to meet clients. This role involves the management of an existing client bank so previous experience of delivering advice is essential. The majority of the advice will be delivered virtually so this role supports hybrid working, with office attendance required for one to ones and training, approximately twice per month. We have offices nationwide, including London, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Liverpool, Darlington, Harrogate, Newbury, Fareham and Grangemouth, and we are looking for candidates nationally, especially in the Edinburgh and Falkirk area. About you: You are an experienced Financial Planner with a proven track record of delivering a high level of service and building and nurturing a client base. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to connect with clients to ensure their expectations are being met. You are highly organised with the ability to manage your caseloads to ensure all requests are dealt with effectively and efficiently. You are able to work under pressure, using your initiative whilst maintaining a professional standard and discretion. You have achieved your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and you are working towards Chartered status. You may not yet have achieved CAS status, but this would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities include: Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances and future aims, aligning with Lifestyle Financial Planning principles. Ensure adherence to compliance procedures to safeguard the company by meeting all regulatory aspects of the role. Develop your product, technical and regulatory knowledge to stay up to date with the latest financial regulations. Actively seek opportunities for client growth through referrals and self-generation. Adhere to AML requirements and deliver suitability reports within prescribed timescales. Follow through with clients and providers to ensure business is completed in a timely manner. Escalate any breaches or concerns to a Regional Director or Compliance team member promptly. Maintain a high standard of file quality. Maintain continuous professional development records and comprehensive knowledge of pensions, investments, and estate planning. Essential skills and experience Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and working towards the Advanced Diploma with the CII Proven track record of providing high levels of service and advice. Excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical and IT skills Strong analytical and research skills Excellent report writing and written/verbal communication skills Good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills Ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long time periods Professional, ethical and discreet Ability to build and maintain ongoing client relationships Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail Desirable skills and experience Advanced Diploma with the CII and Chartered status Educated to Degree level Experience of Intelliflo Salary and benefits Up to £60,000 - negotiable depending on experience and qualification.
