Morgan Mckinley are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Client based in Spalding site.
As Finance Assistant, you will post weekly and month-end journals and assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
There will be specific responsibilities relating to controlling the cash book, credit cards, and expenses along with year-end and audit tasks.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (1-hour lunch break).
Salary on offer is between £23,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities of Finance Assistant include:
1. To complete daily Cashbook postings, bank reconciliations, and deal with queries.
2. To complete all credit card and expense administration, analysis, and postings.
3. To prepare reconciliation and analysis for review.
4. To prepare and post General ledger journals.
5. Responsibility for set Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
6. To Post weekly and monthly Payroll journals and Salary prepayments or accruals.
7. To prepare Monthly VAT reconciliations.
8. To assist with the preparation of Monthly Group Reports.
9. To support year-end analysis, reconciliations, and Group submissions.
Qualifications

2. Be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale.
3. Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
4. Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business.
5. PC Literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
