THE ROLE
The Product Support Engineer role is hands-on and a real opportunity for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to imbed within the existing team, working together from our High Wycombe office to successfully deal with technical related customer enquiries, as well as diagnosing and solving technical issues over the phone.
At CAME KMS, specialists in cutting-edge residential access control products home and building security products, you’ll enjoy a role working alongside our existing Technical Support team, specialising in customer technical support of our SimpleKey Web system, which is a unique and innovative access control solution for all multi user residences, now used by over 225 Housing Associations and Landlords and controls communal doors in approximately 18,000 housing blocks across the UK!
You will need to be somebody who is a strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail and an enthusiasm to learn. As a business-to-business company, developing good relationships with our customer base and exceptional service is vital for our continued success.
KEY SKIILLS AND RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE…
• Provide first line telephone product support to our trade installer customer base.
• Demonstrate the ability to fault find remotely in a logical and methodical manner.
• Undertake hands on testing and fault diagnosis of door entry and access control systems.
• The ability to read/interpret wiring diagrams and technical instructions
• Provide technical support and assistance
• Assist in delivering customer training programs.
ABOUT YOU…

· Good team working skills, as well as the ability to work on your own.
· Ability to work under pressure with good time management skills and awareness.
· Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not required)
In addition to an excellent company culture, we are offering:
· A basic salary of up to £23,500 per annum (dependant on experience)
· Company wide bonus scheme of £1,200 per annum in addition to basic salary
· Contributory company pension after a qualifying period, matched up to 5% contributions.
· 25 days holiday per year (excluding Bank Holidays), increasing with length of service to 28 days per year.
