The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Sunday. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our adult SLT team in IRH as a HCSW at Band 3. IRH is a busy acute hospital with acute and rehab in patients and an outpatient service.
You will join our dynamic, forward thinking, supportive team who will provide you with the opportunity to work with patients who have a range of communication and swallowing difficulties. You will assist our speech and language therapy team by following on with therapy programs with in patients and out patients and assisting with the preparation of materials.
We are looking for a health care support worker with a keen interest in working with adults with a range of adult acquired disorders. Experience working in a health care setting is desirable.
The post is for 15 hours and the hours are flexible to suit the successful candidate but should ideally be offered over five days. IRH is accessible by public transport with Branchton train station a short five minute walk from the hospital.
