And, of course, to be themselves. We are currently looking for a Senior credit control Specialist to join our Reading based Finance team to provide maternity cover on a 12 month fixed term contract. Fully remote role, required to attend a team meeting in Reading offices 4 times a year (quarterly). Responsibilities Pro-active chasing of invoices falling due and overdue. Accurate and up to date commentary on reporting for all invoices due and falling due. Setting of credit limits and payment terms for new and existing customers within sign off approval level or seeking higher approval as per approved matrix. Customer Master maintenance for fields AR own responsibility of. Large order 100k USD approval management. Extended payment terms requests management. Reviewing orders on credit hold and ensuring they are released within the agreed SLA’s and are 100% matching to the quote & PO to ensure audit compliance. Identification and ownership of Quarterly Bad Debt Provisioning. Risk Management. Responsible for informing/escalating management of problematic accounts/ invoice queries Account Reconciliation. Assistance in Cash Allocations. Withholding Tax deduction management. Legal referrals and management. Web portal registration and invoice uploading. Dispute resolution, ensuring queries are actioned in a timely manner so that payment can be secured. Internal & external relationship building. Assist with testing of system improvements/enhancements. Customer Refunds. Customer Write off’s Undertake any ad-hoc or designated project related works within the wider Finance team. Work Qualifications and Experience: 8 years experience in a Corporate Credit and Collections role. Oracle experience. BI Reporting knowledge. ICM desirable. Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Value, Ethics and Behaviors Able to work under tight deadlines. Team Player. Used to working to Target and SLA’s. Excellent attention to detail. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to priorities and manage own workload. Strong relationship building skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar environment.
