We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our fantastic team at MEA Central. This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced and dynamic catering team.
This is a Grade 2, permanent post working 10 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting pro-rata salary is £5,904 to reflect the working hours. The full time equivalent salary is £24,027.
Main purpose of the job:
To work as part of the Team and contribute to the achievement of it's objectives, providing an effective and efficient catering service. This includes preparing and serving food, maintaining the associated catering areas in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
Key Relationships:
The post holder will report to the School Cook Manager and work closely with catering team members and lunchtime organisers.
From time to time, we may ask catering staff if they are able to support at another school within the Trust where we need to cover absence. If you are selected for interview, we will discuss this with you to see whether this is something you are able to do and if so, which schools are most suitable for you.
