Mechatronics Maintenance Engineering Apprentice
Reporting to the Manufacturing, Site and Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Apprentice Technician will be responsible for learning all aspects of the factory facilities, layout, and machinery including the automated machinery in the Autostore warehouse.

Ensure that plant and equipment perform to the required standard to facilitate production targets regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Work on and learn a broad range of activities including installation, testing, fault-finding, and the ongoing planned maintenance of complex automated equipment.
Use and interpret a range of engineering data sources and supporting documentation.
Maintain mechanical & automated equipment, fluid & pneumatic power equipment, electrical control equipment, and process control equipment.
Minimize machinery downtime by carrying out preventative planned maintenance.

Entry Requirements
We are seeking applications from candidates who have or are predicted to gain 5 x GCSEs (or equivalent). Grades must be A*-C / 9-5 for Maths and A*-C / 9-4 for English, Science, and two other subjects.
Training to be Provided
* Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence).
* BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).
* Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence).
