This role involves covering lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, following pre-planned work, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged
* Manage classroom behaviour, creating a positive and productive learning environment
* Follow school policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and professionalism
* Provide feedback on lesson outcomes and student progress to the regular teacher
* Adapt to the needs of each class and school, covering a variety of subjects as required
* Ensure safeguarding and student welfare standards are upheld at all times
This role is ideal for experienced teachers who want flexibility, whether you are looking to balance work with other commitments or simply enjoy a variety of teaching experiences across different schools.
Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Strong classroom management skills
* Ability to quickly adapt to new environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
