An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Home First team in Buckinghamshire.
The team is still in its infancy of becoming a substantive service and this provides team members with the opportunity to influence and contribute to growing and shaping the service.
We are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join the team, which supports patients that have recently been discharged from hospital, to regain their independence and remain in their own homes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional IT skills and be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work.
The role will include a wide range of administrative duties to support the Home First Team, to provide an efficient and effective service.
Duties include, but are not exhaustive of:
1. To act as a point of contact for the public and staff, taking messages and transferring calls.
2. To assist in recording staff rotas/working patterns on the rostering database.
3. To type letters, reports, documentation, and any other correspondence, including those which may be of a confidential nature.
4. To use various methods to collect and present data, using Excel and other systems/databases.
5. To design and produce forms and tables/templates for the Home First Team.
6. To order uniform and other supplies.
7. To ensure any appropriate photocopying and filing is kept up to date.
8. To use various databases to upload referrals, record, and review information.
9. Report IT issues to the IT department and keep in close contact with them to ensure the work is carried out.
10. Demonstrate office procedures to visitors or new staff members as required.
11. Take minutes of team meetings.
12. To undertake duties directed by the service lead.
