Salary: £18,096 to £19,020 per annum (pro rata of £22,620 to £23,775 per annum) Plus Excellent Benefits, including membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
Contract Type: 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Permanent, Fractional.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our People Team at South Devon College.
As a Senior Administrator within our team, you will be responsible for the coordination of the People administrative function for a designated client base, ensuring a consistent functional approach, maintaining accuracy, and close team working with your designated People Business Partner. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries received by the People team, escalating queries as necessary to the People Business Partners.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the early stages of their People Management/Human Resources career or for an experienced Administrator looking to move into this exciting and rewarding area of work.
Key Tasks Include:
Manage the administration of the recruitment and selection process for the college ensuring a high-quality service from start to finish.
Ensure college vacancy pages are up to date and accurate.
Place recruitment advertising on agreed websites.
Answer applicants’ and successful candidates’ queries.
Collate applications ensuring shortlisting packs are sent to hiring managers.
Advise managers on the shortlisting process, ensuring any shortlisting has been carried out fairly and consistently.
Set up interviews, ensuring interview packs, schedules and interview questions are correctly completed and distributed.
Maintain and update recruitment and current vacancies spreadsheets.
Update recruitment and selection documentation as agreed with the Head of People
Perform the mandatory Safer Recruitment checks on successful interview candidates.
Support with payroll processing in relation to starters, leavers and other contractual changes.
The successful candidate will be comfortable in using MS office functions with a good standard of IT and general office administration knowledge. You must be able to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise your workload. You should have experience in delivering excellent customer service with a respect and understanding of the need for high levels of confidentiality.
