Job Description:
RedBull UK is currently recruiting for a Regional Account Executive - Sports & Fitness to be based in North London, UK.
As a Regional Account Executive you are the eyes and ears of the brand, ensuring RedBull is available and visible in key locations to ensure our consumers can find us in their moment of need. Specialising in fitness, you’ll be responsible for making sure consumers are picking up RedBull in the gym, as part of their fitness routine. You’ll be responsible for identifying, targeting, winning, managing and nurturing relationships with independent and small chain gyms in your region. You’ll ensure RedBull looks like no.1 in every gym, encouraging trial of RedBull, and helping RedBull to become the number one energy drink in fitness. You’ll do this by creating and prioritising a pipeline of gyms that are relevant and credible in the region, immersing yourself in the scene and building first class relationships with decision makers and influential stakeholders. This is not a regular 9-5 sales role. But if you love creating a strategy you see through from start to finish, and being a part of the local fitness scene, then this role is for you.
Responsibilities
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
1. Responsible for building a fitness database in your region, that fits RedBull’s priorities, and regional priorities.
Identify opportunities with that database to drive availability of RedBull, and win new accounts.
Implement regional activations, with shopper team, brand team, and field marketing team, in order to make RedBull top of mind and drive sales.
2. Establish effective joint working relationships with key people both internally and externally, including regular reviews with key stakeholders.
Think smarter with contacts, by utilising those in the fitness scene to create brand awareness and education.
Ensure all contacts are educated on RedBull as a brand, and a product, in order to create brand advocates.
Optimise all aspects of your contact matrix to maximise availability and visibility of RedBull.
3. Build a regional strategy that will grow distribution in fitness outlets in your region.
Ensure the strategy complements the sports strategy as set by the National Sales Manager, while taking advantage of local trends and opportunities.
4. Manage multiple operating groups and franchise groups in your region dealing with the key decision makers at a regional level.
Build joint business plans to unlock new distribution.
5. Passion and experience in the fitness industry, understanding the type of venues you’ll be working with, and how they operate.
6. Track record in achieving targets.
7. Skills that will help to become a great seller: Communication, negotiation and objection handling.
8. Ability to build and present a compelling story with insight and commercial awareness.
9. Outstanding customer relationship management.
10. Strong organisational and time management skills.
11. Intermediate skills across Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
12. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
13. Travel 80-90%.
Giving wiiings to people and ideas since 1987
In the 1980s Dietrich Mateschitz developed a formula known as the RedBull Energy Drink. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category.
