Support the Stations and Depots surveyors with data and form processing. Taking on initiatives to improve & organise data and make the systems more efficient and less labour intensive so the team and the candidate can focus on value-add activity and diversify.
The successful candidate will also support the Workplace team with Stakeholder liaison, basic lease and research activity, and for the right person the opportunity to undertake surveying tasks under supervision of the Head of Workplace and pursue a career in property.
1. Support station portfolio team in making sure that Regions involvement in Local Delivery Groups (LDG) for delivery of Integrated Station Plans (ISP) is effective and supports delivery of works programme.
2. Support liaison with customers and stakeholders, building and developing working relationships, both for the allocated estate and property issues arising generally, to deliver excellence in customer service.
3. Assist the station portfolio team in delivering good quality estate management to sustain asset value and asset condition.
4. Assist with the management of customer credit control, and customer issues and queries on a day-to-day basis.
5. Assist in the management of the stations portfolio in accordance with best practice and professional principles.
6. Undertake Workplace administration tasks on the Workplace Estate
7. Liaise with Stakeholders and keep informed of progress
The Stations & Depots and Workplace teams in Property can offer a fantastic chance for the right candidate to apply their skills and learn and develop in Property. The post holder will support a team of 5 managing the lease-relationship between Network Rail and Train Operators. We are wanting to drive change and modernise to be simpler and better. All backgrounds are welcome. The person will also support the Workplace Estates team giving further opportunities to diversify your career and learning. This team provide both facilities services and commercial property lifecycle transactions (a real mix of Landlord & Tenant work). We are open to people who are highly organised and efficient with no property background whatsoever. This opportunity is highly diverse, and we are keen to train and develop the right candidate., · Educated to A level or equivalent.
