Number of hours: 18.75 hours a week (8.30 - 12.15p.m term time) Grade D SCP 6-11 actual salary- 10,670 - 11,554 per annum The Governors of this popular school are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented teaching assistant with EYFS & SEND experience, to join our dedicated staff team. Please make any specific strengths and interests clear in your application. The applicant must have a minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare and experience of working within an EYFS setting. We are looking for someone to: Work with a child on a one to one basis, under the supervision of the class teacher. Supervise and provide support to ensure the safety of pupils and enable them to access all areas of the curriculum. Attend to the personal needs of SEND children, including pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene and welfare. Establish good relationships with pupils, parents and staff. Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils. Encourage pupils to act independently where appropriate. Be a team player with the ability to further develop our strong school ethos. Have experience of working with children with a range of needs.
