The Supply Chain & Procurement Director is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for developing and executing the end-to-end supply chain, procurement, sales, and marketing strategies that drive business growth, operational excellence, and commercial success across DD Group.
This role leads cross-functional teams to optimise supplier relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver seamless distribution of high-volume, high-SKU products across multiple customer segments.
With full P&L accountability for a business unit, the Supply Chain & Procurement Director provides strategic leadership in navigating complex market dynamics, shaping sales contact strategies, and overseeing marketing initiatives across all channels. You will play a critical role in strengthening DD Group’s position in the dental and aesthetics sector delivering long-term value for customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Key aspects:
* As a member of the SLT team you are jointly responsible for setting overall DD Group strategic direction, ensuring delivery of objectives and financial targets, regulatory compliance and continuous development of the organisations skills and capabilities.
* Developing the growth strategy to achieve annual targets. Developing range, lead relationships with suppliers, setting pricing & margin, developing marketing & all sales activity. Coordinating plans across support functions.
* Ownership of Category & range management team, Pricing, Promotional activity and all sales activity. Coordinating plans across internal support teams such as Pricing, IT, Operations etc. Responsible for delivery of the annual financial objectives
* Ensure regular performance reviews are undertaken with all team members and that the organisation is efficient & effective.

* Operated as part of an Exec team for 5+ years
* Knowledge & experience in the dental sector
* Extensive experience working within high sku count / high customer count distributor business
* Management of relationships with external stakeholders e.g strategic suppliers
* Development of successful Sales contact strategies
* Developing and leading marketing activity across all media
* Familiar with regulatory framework & legislation for Medicines and Medical devices
