---------------------------------
The people we support have fabulous personalities! Some are social butterflies who like the finer things in life, and others much prefer their own company and quiet walks in the countryside.
There are varying degrees of independence in both homes so the exact level of support you’ll be providing will depend on the person/people you’re matched to, but it is likely to include personal care, meal preparation, feeding, medication administration, and domestic tasks including cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Some of the people we support are wheelchair users and have use of a hoist. Full training and support will be provided.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with great values and confidence, who are willing to join a team that supports people to achieve really great outcomes and have a really good quality of life!
Shifts are mornings 7 am – 2 pm, afternoons 2 pm – 9 pm, all day 7 am – 9 pm.
Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are accredited by the Great Places To Work programme in 2024 – now 6 years in a row!
About you
We believe anyone has the potential to be a great support worker, no matter your background, as long as you share our values: respect, partnership, courage, ambition, and integrity – that’s why we recruit based on values and not skills or experience.
