We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented students to join our team as part of an Industrial Placement program. This placement offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience alongside engineering industry experts, contributing to the development of cutting-edge EVs that are shaping the future of transportation.We are looking for students to contribute the following teams:Exterior trim; front, rear, side trim and wash wiper systems.Exterior lighting.Closures; side and back door metal and trim.Body cost optimisation.Materials; paint.Materials; cost optimisation and sustainabilityDepending on the role you will have the opportunity to:Design and develop materials, parts and systems from concept through digital and physical phase to meet the requirements of the customer, styling, manufacturing, crash and durability.Manage projects to deliver cost reduction idea generation, new part design, release and delivery on existing vehicles.Generate and analyse competitor sustainability benchmark data. You will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and initiative, potentially contributing to real-world projects that make a significant impact.Join us and be part of the electrification revolutionMain Tasks & ResponsibilitiesSupport project managers in monitoring project progress and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) including Quality, Cost, and Timing (QCT).Conduct data analysis to track project KPIs and identify potential risks or areas for improvement.Participate in the preparation of progress reports and presentations for senior management, effectively communicating project status and recommendations.Assist in coordinating communication and information flow between project team members, fostering collaboration across disciplines.Gain exposure to various project management tools and methodologies, with the opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives.What you will need to be successfulA highly motivated and results-oriented student studying a degree in a relevant field, namely technical, engineering or design.Sufficient evidence of your right to work in the UK will be required.What we offerWe firmly believe that investment in our employees is integral to their growth and success.
