We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our team in a busy, high-end hotel on the River Thames in Egham, supporting the Head Chef and team with daily food preparations.
The successful candidate will have experience in a professional kitchen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-end service with a keen eye for detail.
The hotel is located on the banks of the River Thames, boasting character and charm with modern and contemporary style ambience, offering a Riverside Restaurant, Bar & Grill, and over 150 bedrooms.
The Commis Chef will receive a competitive salary, 40 hour week with all overtime paid, service charge, and various benefits including complimentary use of the gym, staff member discount, and reward & loyalty benefits schemes.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to their responsibilities, impeccable hygiene and health & safety standards, and a friendly and caring disposition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef and team with daily food preparations
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to a high standard
* Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
