We are looking for an experienced European Transport Co-ordinator to join our team in Trafford Park.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effectively plan both import and export trailers to and from the EU to utilise space and maximise profits
* Provide an exceptional level of service to all customers as required
* Maintain and update suppliers contact list to ensure efficiency across the department
* Select appropriate carrier/service providers to maximise profits and deliver service
* Invoice and cost shipment files in a timely and accurate manner
* Maintain and monitor service expectations of existing and key accounts
* Follow the company operational procedures
* Management of business from inception to completion
* Manage own time to best efficiency for the business
* Carry out any other duties deemed necessary by the company
* Seek, develop and secure new opportunities from existing business
* Achieve profit growth through effective commercial management of new and existing accounts
* Demonstrate personal drive
* Communicate effectively (active listening, questioning, expressing self clearly and concisely)
* Motivate colleagues
* Positive and pro-active approach to work
* Contribute pro-actively and professionally to formal & informal discussions with colleagues

* Benchmark and monitor key suppliers, ensuring most cost-effective deal for Far
* Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers
* Identify and establish relationships with key clients
* Monitor and review the service provided by overseas agents
