We’re on the lookout for an experienced SEO manager to join our MarComms team. You’ll be integral to helping us achieve our product acquisition growth goals.
We’re looking for someone with a mix of SEO content strategy, technical skills, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll also need soft skills such as curiosity, critical thinking, organisation, and be an effective communicator.
Working with content writers, web managers and developers, you’ll ensure that the Starling website is optimised for search engines for both on-page and technical SEO. There'll also be collaboration with the wider marketing and business teams. You’ll share SEO insights to help customer service teams anticipate and address common customer concerns.
You’ll develop SEO strategies that align with our growth plans, and collaborate with the Head of Digital - Web & SEO on a pipeline of activities to deliver. You’ll keep up with industry trends and changes to search engine algorithms, and adjust your strategies accordingly. You will:
1. Prepare and conduct keyword research and content analysis for web optimisation
2. Identify gaps and execute SEO growth through competitor analysis and keyword opportunities
3. Partner with the editorial and web teams providing recommendations for organic success
4. Plan, develop and implement SEO strategies to achieve organic goals
5. Work with the development team to ensure website content is optimised for search engines and user experience
6. Monitor and report on search engine rankings, organic traffic, and insights on trends
7. Provide regular reporting and updates on performance to stakeholders, creating dashboards
8. Develop automations to improve performance and drive efficiencies
9. Manage internal tools and develop processes used for optimisation
10. Collaboration with internal teams to develop high-performing marketing campaigns
11. Take the initiative and spot opportunities for improvements and insights
Requirements
12. Strong verbal and written communication at all levels

Demonstrated experience of:
22. SEO tools such as SEMrush and Screaming Frog
23. Analytics and monitoring including Google Search Console and GA4
24. CMS platforms
25. Technical SEO
26. Google Tag Manager
27. Core Web Vitals
28. Business intelligence tools such as Looker.
It would be great if you also have an understanding of:

38. Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in marketing, computer science, engineering, or information technology or equivalent experience.
This role is hybrid and will require at least twice weekly attendance at our Spitalfields,
