Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of the role is to collect, process, and analyse information from a variety of sources to support the Tennis Anti-Corruption and Tennis Anti-Doping Programmes. This specifically includes retrieving and analysing data from mobile forensic downloads. The Intelligence Analysts at the ITIA work closely with investigators and the anti-doping team to identify links and associations of people, places, organisations, timings, events and electronic communications in order to identify any breaches of the two programmes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct downloads and analysis of digital devices.
* Produce link charts and timelines using analytical software tools. Conduct social media exploitation and utilise link analysis to develop intelligence and investigative leads.
* Identify, assess and record relevant intelligence into the appropriate ITIA intelligence and investigations database(s) for both the Tennis Anti-Corruption Programme and Tennis Anti-Doping Programme.
* Produce comprehensive tactical reports capable of directing and informing investigative activity.
* Produce detailed strategic reports identifying risk to the integrity of the sport whilst directing and informing policy response.
* Provide a viable tactical and strategic menu of options capable of disrupting offences under the TACP or TADP.
* Assist in the identification of new sources of intelligence.
* Work closely with investigators to identify and investigate any breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Programme and Tennis Anti-Doping Programme.
* Work with the ITIA Legal team in relation to case preparation including drafting reports and preparing witness statements documenting the analytical process and results.
* Work with the ITIA Anti-Doping Team to analyse data and identify data sources to assist in the identification of potential anti-doping rule violations.
* Work with the ITIA Education team to assist in input into the content development of educational resources.
* Contribute to ongoing assessment work to ensure the organisation identifies and addresses emerging risks.
* Understanding and absorption of sometimes-complex data and the handling of said data in accordance with GDPR and other policies and codes; including the deletion of data no longer required by the team

Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* Qualified analyst (or displays ability and aptitude to undertake and pass relevant accredited analytical course)
* Ability to undertake complex research and analysis at strategic and operational levels, linking information and intelligence to identify patterns and trends.
* Experienced and practical user of intelligence databases and analytical tools such as i2 Analyst Notebook and GIS mapping tools
* Experience of producing comprehensive evidential reports and give evidence on findings as required at disciplinary hearings.
* Experienced in working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
* Experience of handling and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.
* Curious, logical mind (conscious of cognitive bias).
* Detailed knowledge of the Intelligence cycle.
* Experienced user of MS Office (particularly advanced MS-Excel) and SharePoint.
* Exceptional organisational skills including the ability to work to agreed key Performance Indicators.
* Ability to instigate and maintain stakeholder relationships.
* Understand and be able to operate with an audited framework of data protection regulations (such as GDPR) and internal policies as set by the ITIA Data Protection Officer (DPO).
* To have unimpeachable integrity, personal values and standards plus a deep commitment to equality, inclusion and diversity in the workplace
* Be fluent in English
Desirable:
* Proficient in the interrogation and analysis of forensically recovered data from electronic devices using related software eg Cellbrite, MSAB
* Experienced OSINT, SOCMINT, GEOINT researcher capable of identification, collection of intelligence or evidential material.
* Experience of working within an international organisation, preferably in the sports integrity field
* Experience of anti-doping related intelligence gathering and analysis
* Understanding of global betting markets.
* Good knowledge and understanding of tennis and its related sports integrity issues.
* Experience and understanding of analysis and research of transnational organised crime networks.
* Capable and confident whilst delivering presentations of work undertaken to a wide range of international stakeholders.
* Understanding of the principles and responsibilities of the Data Protection Act (2018) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
* Demonstrates high level of personal, technical and physical operational security practices.
* Excellent intellectual skills with inherent capability to grasp complex investigation case structures.
* Understanding of Anti-Corruption and Anti-Doping procedure and process.
* An interest in and understanding of tennis and its structures/levels.
* Relevant language skills, ability to speak other languages is highly desirable
* The ITIA has a flexible working policy which sees employees working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office; sometimes more. The policy may be subject to change and the official place of work is the office. Due to the nature of this role the candidate must be able to attend the office easily and occasionally out of hours. This role may also require travel away from the UK and work outside of normal working hours.
