Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Build Azure Environments:
- Develop and maintain robust customer Azure environments.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and create repeatable service models.
- Provide timely support for escalated incidents, ensuring seamless operations.
2. Cloud Spend Optimisation:
- Collaborate closely with customers to optimise their cloud expenditure.
- Deliver insightful FinOps reporting and necessary remediation actions to enhance cost efficiency.
Ideal Experience
To thrive in this role, the following qualifications and experiences are essential:
Azure Certifications:
- Possess relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
Deep Azure Expertise:
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Azure architecture and management tooling.
- Demonstrate experience in fine-tuning Azure environments for optimal performance.
IaC and DevOps Skills:
- Showcase excellent proficiency with Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with tools like Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and GitHub is crucial.
Best Practices:
- Apply Microsoft best practices, including the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
Microsoft Partner Experience:
- Previous experience working within an Azure-focused MSP is required.
- Knowledge of areas like Azure Lighthouse is highly desirable.
