Our client is looking for a Streetworks Coordinator for their Thames Water Project. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 or 3 days of work from home.
Working with the Senior Streetworks Coordinator and the Streetworks Manager, you will develop and assist in the implementation of policies and strategies to ensure an industry-leading level of Streetworks compliance and performance is achieved. This includes nurturing positive relationships with clients, highway authorities, and other stakeholders regarding NRSWA compliance and practical applications of processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Send and respond to all highway requests/communications within specified time requirements.
2. Manage all required list edits throughout the day.
3. Ensure all relevant application forms and consents are complete and populated correctly in a timely manner (Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders, Traffic Light Applications, etc.).
4. Work alongside operational managers and teams to manage and escalate any potential issues (location of jobs, permit conditions, ongoing works, avoidable costs).
5. Submit all permits within the required timescale.
6. Start/stop all permits within the required timescale.
7. Manage all works comments on receipt and respond with correct information.
8. Act as a point of contact for escalations.
9. Take proactive action when notices are at risk, liaising with local councils where appropriate to agree extensions or alternative measures.
