Description
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing and production equipment.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs to minimise production downtime.
Support projects aimed at upgrading and improving electrical systems and production machinery.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure equipment modifications meet company standards.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
Conduct safety checks and inspections, ensuring that all work is performed in line with company safety standards.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Maintenance Manager, highlighting any ongoing issues or risks.
Utilise troubleshooting techniques to quickly resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
Use technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide fault-finding processes.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify areas for equipment or process improvement.
Participate in training and development opportunities to maintain current knowledge of industry standards and advancements.
Profile
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience in an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally in a production or manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of PLCs, control systems, and industrial machinery.
Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.Job Offer
