Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Twinsburg, OH. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the production of high quality security solutions that protect our customers' essential values.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of production equipment.
2. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance of all production equipment.
3. Set up equipment in coordination with the production shift supervisor, aligning with the production schedule.
4. Ensure compliance with safety and employee conduct rules, promoting a clean and hazard-free workspace.
5. Participate in plant safety/housekeeping guidelines.
6. Ensure all maintenance work complies with ISO standards.
7. Maintain adequate spare parts inventory levels.
8. Foster continuous improvement concepts within the team.
9. Train colleagues as necessary.
10. Report all unresolved issues to the manager.
Key Qualifications:
1. Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical machinery.
2. Profound understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, conveyors, compressors, rollers & chains, bearings, and hydraulics.
3. Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to repair and assemble equipment.
4. Proficiency in computer-based machine software navigation and interpretation.
5. Strong emphasis on safety compliance, maintaining a safety-first approach.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
1. Proficiency in PLC, AC/DC, Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
2. Previous 2-4 years of vocational and/or maintenance technician experience.
3. Technical degree from an accredited institution.
4. Independent, proactive working style, adept at managing multiple projects in a high-demand environment.
5. Comfortable with precision hand movements when operating machinery.
6. Experience operating hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers.
7. Normal color perception and eyesight correctable to 20/20.
8. Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
