St Pancras Clinical Research is seeking a mid-level Clinical Research Physician to join our Chester site as we expand our projects and facilities.
We are a London-based Site Management Organisation conducting Phase II and III clinical trials for new medicines targeting various chronic diseases. Our expertise includes chronic pain, memory disorders, inflammatory, neurological, neurodegenerative conditions, diabetes, and neuropsychiatry.
Job Description:
1. Serve as Sub-investigator on Phase II and III trials at the Chester site.
2. Collaborate with Study Coordinators to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality data collection.
3. Conduct patient visits in strict accordance with study protocols.
4. Act as a clinical investigator following ICH GCP standards, ensuring high patient care quality.
5. Perform clinical procedures such as completing Source Documents and CRFs, assisting with medication dosing, obtaining informed consent, assessing clinical data (BP, ECGs, labs, adverse events), and conducting pre-study histories and examinations per SOPs.
6. Manage medical emergencies at the site and provide out-of-hours medical coverage for trial participants.
Requirements:
1. GMC registration with a UK license to practice.
2. Higher qualifications (MRCP, MRCPsych) are desirable but not essential.
3. Experience in clinical research with a strong understanding of ICH GCP.
4. Patient-centric approach to clinical and research practices.
5. Flexible attitude towards work assignments and locations.
6. Desirable: ability to perform CSF Sampling (LPs).
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic databases, and data entry systems.
8. Qualities sought: team player, diligent, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects efficiently, and produce high-quality work.
