I am partnering with a dynamic, growing and exciting software company who specialise within the construction industry, my client are looking for an experienced business development manager who has solid experience in generating new business as well as account management skills. My client have created a pioneering software platform for the construction industry and due to the success of the platform have experienced huge growth in the past year.
They are looking for a dedicated, passionate and experienced business development manager to further development new business and manage these accounts.
The ideal individual will have a solid background with software sales or sales within the construction industry, you must be confident, money driven with strong business acumen and a great personality
1. Delivering against personal targets from both a warm opportunity pool and cold business.
2. Analysing data and insights to inform and appropriately target activities based on priority opportunities.
3. Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers for new client acquisition targets.
4. Achieve growth of the business by hitting sales targets as outlined below.
5. Prospect for new clients by cold calling, networking, use of databases or other means of generating interest from potential clients and turn this into new business.
6. Build a pipeline of potential new business opportunities. Ensure these are prospected accordingly to maximise the chance of winning the business.
7. Generate new business and then manage the account to ensure ongoing renewal of the contract
8. Target customers have turnover ranging from 5 million to million
9. Maintain and grow product knowledge to be recognised as a leader in the field.
10. Target customer contacts who you will be selling into - MD, FD, Construction Director, H&S Director, Contract Directors, IT Managers
Requirements,
11. Previous experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
12. Demonstrate accurate and up-to-date industry knowledge.
13. Experience in a Platform environment would be a benefit.
Basic Salary between 55k to 70k plus a sold bonus / commission scheme
