Job Details:
* Rate: £400 - £500 per day (Inside IR35)

Role Overview:
The MEH Engineer will play a key role in reviewing and accepting design changes, managing interfaces between construction contractors and designers, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team working on a classified plant within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical review and acceptance of design modifications
* Ensure compliance with nuclear, safety, and environmental regulations
* Approve non-conformances and design changes as the project progresses
* Collaborate with designers, safety case teams, and regulators
* Act as a key interface between construction contractors and engineering teams
Key Requirements:
* Strong MEH background in a highly regulated environment (nuclear, aircraft, petrochemical, or similar)
* Experience in the design and maintenance of heavy mechanical, electrical & HVAC power generation equipment
* Hands-on expertise in:
o Rotating equipment (pumps, motors, valves)
o Heat exchangers and pressure systems
o Piping design, erection, and welding
o Electrical systems and power distribution
o HVAC design, installation, and maintenance
o Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems
* A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Experience in safety case development and regulatory compliance
