Job summary Within our one of a kind service offering, Autism Unlimited is in search for a Lead Positive Behaviour Therapist to join our therapy team. Since the charity started over 54 years ago we have made immense progress to supporting children, adults and their families living with autism Our therapy model is made up of a multidisciplinary team including behaviour support practitioners, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and psychotherapists. Working with our therapy leader, this role will play a critical part in our student development working collaboratively to reach the best possible outcome for those we support at all times. Main duties of the job Duties would include: Leading on the delivery of a comprehensive, innovative and evidence based behaviour support service that meets the needs of the students and adults, within a Positive Behaviour Model. Delivery will include the assessment of students along with planning, implementing and evaluating interventions. Planning and development of the PBS service and provide line management to team members. Working in close collaboration with classroom teams, as well as the other members of the Therapy team, in order to provide integrated behaviour support. Promoting expertise and best practice through training, modelling and staff coaching. Attending student reviews or other relevant meetings, to ensure a person centred approach in collaboration with the team around the student.
