ABOUT THE ROLE
My client are looking for a Lifting Manager to join their successful team and play an important part within the health and safety team. The role will involve overseeing all lifting operations on their sites which are located around London and the South. You will be part of a brilliant company that has grown steadily over the past 20 years and is now very highly regarded in the utilities infrastructure and data centre sectors both in the UK and in Europe.
You will be creating and implementing lifting plans across the business for various construction projects. Your role will also be to coordinate with project managers, site supervisors and crane operators to schedule all lifting operations.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role you will need to have the A61 appointed person Blue card and a minimum of 5 years experience as an AP. You will need to have worked for a similar size company on major projects. You will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills aswell as an in depth knowledge of the construction industry and lifting operations in particular.
It’s important to have worked for each of your previous companies for at least 3 years per company.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For this permanent position, we are targeting candidates looking to earn anything from £65,000 to £80,000 per annum however specific salary will be defined upon experience and suitability. There will be a generous package offered; travel allowance OR company vehicle in addition to standard benefits associated with a large successful company. The package will include a pension and a healthcare scheme as well as 24 days holiday plus bank holidays.
