Application Support Analyst

We're working with a growing organisation to find a capable and proactive Application Support Analyst to take ownership of key business systems and ensure smooth day-to-day operation across the ERP ecosystem. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a pivotal stage, as the final system rollout is completed, giving you the chance to become a go-to expert from day one.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Providing hands-on support for core applications - resolving technical issues, fielding user queries, and helping to maintain performance and stability.
2. Acting as the primary contact for system-related queries (1st line access/password support; 2nd line configuration and break/fix).
3. Monitoring performance and proactively ensuring system reliability.
4. Handling incidents efficiently to minimise downtime and business disruption.
5. Liaising with third parties around updates and releases, ensuring internal teams stay informed and aligned.
6. Promoting best practice and reducing technical debt within the solution.
7. Maintaining clear and thorough documentation of configurations, processes, and change history.
8. Supporting additional business applications as needed by the wider IT team.
9. Staying up to date with relevant trends and technology developments.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience in system administration and technical support.
2. Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical and analytical approach.
3. Familiarity with incident management and system monitoring tools.
4. Comfortable juggling multiple tasks or projects in a dynamic environment.
5. Knowledge of cloud environments and security best practices.
6. Confident communicator and strong team player, able to work independently when needed.
7. Eligibility to attain UK Security Clearance at SC level.
Desirable (but not essential):
ITIL, CISA, CISSP certifications or equivalent understanding of frameworks.
