Job Title: Soft Services Manager
We are seeking an experienced Soft Services Manager to lead our facilities team at the new UCL campus in Stratford. The successful candidate will have a background in Facilities Management, biased towards Soft Services, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional service contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction
* Manage a team of soft services staff, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver high-quality services
* Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, including robust follow-up on accidents and incidents
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of facility services provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
* Undertake regular audits, including night shift audits, to ensure services are delivered to the highest standard
Requirements:
* Proven experience in facilities services, with a focus on soft services management
* Experience working within an educational facility
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
* Strong customer service orientation, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships
* SMSTS and/or knowledge of Risk Assessments (desirable)
* IOSHH / NEBOSH qualification
