Gift Designer

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Lifestyle Brand seeking a Gift Designer. This is a permanent role based in Hampshire .
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the gifting range and contribute to the brand's success.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and drive the gifting range across Women’s and Men’s products all year round.
* Stay on top of current and future trends, sharing ideas and inspiration with the team.
* Create design packs, CADs, and artworks to achieve high-quality first samples within the critical path timing.
* Conduct market research to identify the latest trends and maintain a strong commercial awareness of key competitors.
* Collaborate with the buying team to ensure the range offers choice and newness, maximizing best sellers and identifying missed opportunities.
* Develop products and packaging designs from concept to final artwork, including proofing and approval.
* Liaise with suppliers on product design details and materials.
* Present ranges to the team, highlighting key trends and advocating for products you strongly believe in.
* Support the Senior Designer in researching themes and directions for design presentations.
What are we looking for?
* A degree or equivalent in a design-based subject.
* At least 3+ years of experience at a junior level in the gift, home, or packaging industry.
* Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, buyers, merchandisers, and suppliers.
* Strong research skills and presentation abilities.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Passion for gifting, packaging, and creating innovative designs that align with brand identity.
