37.5 hours - Monday to Friday 9pm-5pm but if support is needed, some additional hours might be required. Would consider a 4 day week working longer days to cover the full time hours.
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Mental Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Work in and lead the Mental Health team within the Healthcare Services team.
* Provide clinical leadership and management to Registered nurses and allied health professionals.
* Establish inter-agency working to ensure good communication increases quality of care for patients.
* Ensuring that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
* Based on the Wellbeing Approach and Practice Plus mental Health policy, provide nursing triage, screening and assessment.
* Actively participate with the development of local operating procedures to ensure pathways are clear for clinicians.
* Nurse lead treatment or care within mental health.
* Medicines management/advice, supporting medicine administration.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessment, planning and treatment of patients.
* Manage and provide clinical supervision to the team.
* Working closely with the Head of Healthcare ensuring that reports are accurately completed within deadlines.

Qualifications required
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (Currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council)
* BSc or equivalent qualification
* Experience of providing supervision ideally
* Teaching / Mentoring experience and/or qualification
* Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and ongoing competence in all aspects of the role
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
