Key Account Manager - Commercial Corporate Division
The Role: This is an outstanding opportunity for a target driven, dynamic and commercially astute Key Account Manager to join a well-established, market leading, workplace solutions organisation, to join our clients high achieving & ambitious Commercial Corporate Division.
Managing an established, highly performing, account base made up of clients from a wide range of sectors with an annual spend of up to £300k, you will be tasked with building strong working relationships with all key decision makers within the account. These could be anyone from a Procurement Manager, to a Health & Safety Officer to someone at C-Suite level, and your main responsibilities will be to stay up to date on their needs and requirements, ensure that they are completely satisfied with their service and the account is retained. Furthermore, you will be expected to seek out additional potential decision makers within the business to ensure that they are aware of the multi-category offering the business provides, and taking advantage of any opportunities to upsell/cross-sell.
This role is a pure account management role, and as such you will need to be an excellent relationship builder, as well as an agile communicator, to ensure you build a strong rapport with your clients at every level you are dealing with. Clients within your account base could be from any sector, so your day to day will be highly varied, and you will need to be adaptable to suit the environment that you are in. You will be required to network with the accounts over the phone and attend regular face to face meetings to maintain a strong working relationship.
Based from home, you will have autonomy and freedom to develop a strategic plan to hit your targets, bringing a level of creativity, drive, and an entrepreneurial flair to the role.
Requirements: To be considered for the Account Manager role you must:
· Have a demonstrable track record of hitting targets within a field based, B2B sales role, ideally from within the FMCG sector.
· Individuals with either a new business or account management background will be considered.
· Excellent communication & relationship building skills are essential.
· Be highly target driven, motivated, commercially astute, competitive, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently.
· The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Package for Key Account Manager
· Basic salary circa £38-£44k + uncapped bonus scheme (£10-20k realistic OTE)
