Pupil Care Assistant (including personal and intimate care)
The post is for 30 hours a week, 08:30 - 15:30 Monday – Friday and is term time only.
Temporary contract until end of academic year initially (could be extended if funding is continued).
Actual pay range: Veritas Range 3 £15,998.78 term time only. This equates to £23,337 full time equivalent.
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children? We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as a Care Assistant. You will be working under the direction of the SENCO as part of our Inclusion Team in supporting and including children with specific needs and/or disabilities.

Responsibilities:
* Support students with physical disabilities including personal care and physiotherapy needs.
* Support children at mealtimes with feeding.
* Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
* Support a safe and supportive learning environment.
* Provide two to one support for toileting following our intimate care policy and procedures.
Desired (but not essential) Requirements:
* Experience of working with or caring for children of school age.
* Experience of working in the care sector.
* A patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach to supporting children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to support intimate care needs of children alongside other team members.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
