We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager based in Luton for one of our clients on a 12 month Maternity Contract cover. Our client is a well-established wholesale distributor.
Summary of the Shift Manager role
Salary: £40,000
Location: Luton
Type of Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: 4 on 4 off, working 3am to 3pm
Responsibilities of the Shift Manager
1. Optimising resource/staffing deployment.
2. Drive continuous improvement.
3. Lead and support the team in following the target operating model.
4. Set and purpose targets and KPIs.
5. Performance analysis.
6. Lead and mentor team members, providing regular feedback, recognition and constructive guidance.
7. Resource planning.
Requirements for a successful Shift Manager
1. Proven Managerial experience within a KPI driven environment.
2. Strong ability to work under pressure.
3. Excellent leadership skills with demonstrable experience leading teams.
4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
6. Strong IT skills with proficiency in Office 365 and ERP systems.
7. Attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
