Who You Are We are seeking an experienced children's social worker with over three years of post-qualification experience to join our Fostering Kinship Assessment Service. You possess a strong background working with children and families, and you have sound knowledge in fostering, specifically within kinship. Your comprehensive understanding of fostering regulations, legislation, statutory guidance, and processes reflects your ability to make effective decisions in recruiting and assessing foster carers. Your creativity, motivation, and passion drive you to deliver exceptional service and improve outcomes to ensure a brighter future for our children and young people. What the Job Involves This role involves completing Form C Assessments and managing a diverse, complex, and varied caseload. You will maintain a child-centered approach and apply your expertise to ensure the provision of stable placements for children and young people. A commitment to the full length of placement until October 2025 is required, with at least three days of on-site work in Liverpool per week. You must reside within a one-hour commutable distance to Liverpool and have access to a car.
