Page Personnel are partnering with a successful business based in Southampton looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis. Client Details Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working. Description As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for: Process invoices and payments; reconcile supplier statements. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Support month-end reporting and account reconciliation. Process staff expenses and ensure compliance with policies. Assist with audit preparation and provide administrative support. Profile To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position, you must: Experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in a ledger management capacity. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Job Offer Salary £25,000 - £30,000
