Job Title: Supervisor
Salary: £12.50 per hour, 32-40 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Part Time Supervisor for 16 - 24 hours a week to join the team. As a Supervisor, you will be out there on the floor of the cinema living our value of ‘Nothing is too much trouble’ and supporting the Customer Service Assistants in delivering exceptional service. In addition to this, you will be supporting the cinema Duty Managers in the smooth daily operation of the cinema.
The Regal Picturehouse has been at the heart of Henley-on-Thames since the original Regal opened in 1937. In 1993 the cinema was demolished to make way for a Waitrose, and a new Regal was built nearby in 1997. In December 2005 the Regal joined the Picturehouse group and was rechristened the Regal Picturehouse. We are a three-screen cinema with a licensed bar and a cafe on the ground floor. Our film programme is a broad and curated range of quality mainstream, indie, family, foreign language, and documentary films. We champion classic or contemporary independent thinking films, providing a quality cinema experience to our diverse and inclusive audience.
We also show live broadcasts of productions from world-class arts venues, such as the New York Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Opera House, theatre productions such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre Live, art exhibitions, and filmmaker Q&As. There is a requirement to work 8 hours per week over any of the seven days with regular work at evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Cash Handling (Including Reconciliation)
2. Food Handling and Stock Control
3. Use of Technology (e.g. IT Systems, Till Operations, Telephones)
4. Increasing Sales
5. Maintaining Standards
6. Dealing Face to Face with Large Groups of People
7. Addressing and Resolving Complaints
8. Induction and Training of Customer Service Assistants
9. Coaching Customer Service Assistants
10. Monitoring Compliance and Maintaining Standards
Along with your main duties, you will also be expected to carry out any other duties that are reasonably asked of you.
