We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our Income Generation and Communications team as our Ecommerce Coordinator.
Could you increase our charitable income by boosting our sales revenues through a variety of online platforms?
Do you have the drive, ambition, and the desire to make positive change, promote and engage existing and new supporters while being a natural problem solver?
We are looking for someone who has a true passion for turning donated goods into cash with an eye for spotting a money spinner.
You must be able to lead by example, and be empathic and understanding.
Initially, this is a one-year fixed term contract.
To be successful for an interview, you should have:
* Experience in online sales.
* Some experience of working with volunteers.
* Good general knowledge of best-selling, popular, unique, and profitable items to maximize sales.
* Experience of developing and implementing new and inventive ways of increasing sales/donated goods.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
* Computer literate, preferably including Excel.
* Ability to effectively communicate on all levels, encouraging rapport with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
