- 5 days per week in the office (this is not a remote role ) Location : Brighton, UK Sprung Studios is looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team, working on AAA games for console and mobile.

In this role you will, report to the IT Lead (based in Vancouver), oversee all department computer-based information systems' design, installation, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support.
If you have previous experience handling and maintaining active directories, internal networks, on-site and off-site backups, configuring software at the command line level, and expertise in network security, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do: System Maintenance and Optimisation: Be responsible for all systems in the Brighton Studio Provide operational administration and configuration support for our server and network solutions Configure and deploy VPN and remote working solutions Security and Compliance: Maintain and monitor security measures, software updates, patch management, and security privileges Work with IT lead to deploy security training plans to all staff Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the team in Brighton to understand their needs and provide technical support.
Provide assistance to the Vancouver team as directed Manage software licences Work with clients to configure and support IT solutions on a project-by-project basis Automation and Scripting: As directed, develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline system management tasks.
Disaster Recovery and Backup: Maintain and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and configurations Maintain the asset tracking system for Brighton and deploy hardware as needed Experience and requirements: Experience with EDR/MDR solutions, MDM/RMM solutions, GPOs, Powershell/Bash and cloud platforms (Google Workspace, M365, Backups) Client facing experience Ability to set up group policies and configuration profiles through MDM, Active Directory, JamF and at the network level Ability to configure and maintain different VPN, LAN, WAN and VLAN solutions Ability to configure internal network and security to adhere to client requirements This is an office based position.
