Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the design of structures in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. - Work on projects from concept to completion alongside senior engineers. - Use software such as TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot, and TEDDS to support design work. - Apply British Standards and Eurocodes in structural design. - Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and project teams. - Contribute to technical reports, calculations, and project documentation. What They're Looking For: - 1-2 years of experience in structural engineering. - A BEng or MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or Engineering Design, with a desire to work towards chartership (IStructE or ICE). - Knowledge of structural materials and design principles. - Experience using design software (e.g., TEKLA, Robot, TEDDS) is desirable. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - A proactive, problem-solving approach with a passion for engineering.
