Gen2 Training are looking for a Level 3 Business Administrator to join their team for an immediate start to be based at their Lillyhall Head office in Workington. Gen2 was established in 2000. We specialise in the Engineering, Nuclear, and Manufacturing sectors and currently operate across Cumbria with over 150 employees. Gen2 currently works with over 300 local and national clients delivering a broad range of programmes from Level 2 study programmes to Level 6 degree apprenticeships. Many of these programmes have been developed specifically for employers or in response to Government initiatives. Gen2 has approximately 1,450 Apprentices in learning, with 300 higher education students and deliver approximately 10,000 delegates days of short course training per annum. The Business Administrator will be the first point of contact for visitors as this is a front of house position. The role includes receptionist duties, day to day admin tasks, commercial course administration and you will be the initial contact for any issues that may arise in centre. You will work closely with the various teams throughout Gen2 to provide admin support Duties and Responsibilities First point of contact for all visitors. Deal with telephone enquiries, responding to queries as appropriate and incoming and outgoing mail. Room bookings for lessons, commercial courses and exams Exam support, set up and invigilation Commercial course registration Admin support to Commercial team Processing paperwork relating to new and existing learners/delegates Recruitment support when required Liaising with teams across Gen2 to provide administrative support where necessary Order stationery, consumables and complete stock checks Perform other daily admin tasks Requirements (Essential) Excellent IT Skills including experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail Able to work in a fast-paced environment to achieve against tight deadlines Excellent organising ability Confidentiality Strong communication skills Flexible and adaptable High levels of drive and tenacity Promote ‘One Team’ in all aspects of work Personal Qualities Proven ability and confidence to deal with a diverse range of personnel Self-starter, able to manage a variety of projects independently Ability to work on own initiative Patient and shows control in challenging situations Can take ownership for problems and assignment to resolution Is a good team player Rate of Pay National Minimum wage for apprentices Hours of work Monday-Friday 8am-4pm Qualifications Minimum grade C or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English.
