Job Summary
As a Graphic Information Designer you will assist the Prevent Project Team to meet the SFO’s commitment to utilise new methods to prevent serious and economic crime from taking place.
Whilst the post will sit in the Chief Investigator’s Division, its broad remit will entail working across the organisation, from Strategy and Policy, Training, Graphics and Operational Divisions, as well as with external partners in the public and private sectors. Your main responsibility will be to analyse the product of our research to design and create a range of products to communicate messages aimed at preventing serious economic crime, identifying the most impactful ways of communicating that message to meet that aim.
You will also work alongside the existing Graphics Unit to support the creation of corporate graphic material, to be used for training and external communications (such as social media content).
Job Description
As a Graphic Information Designer you will be responsible for:
* Understand and utilise the learning from research conducted – including complex data and concepts - to create high quality visual products for delivery to stakeholders. This may include PowerPoint presentations, training products, videos, animation, and games.
* Visualise, articulate and solve complex problems and design concepts, change and adapt design ideas, simplify and restructure data and designs by applying logical thinking, seeking solutions with the relevant people if necessary.
* Identify and support the most impactful methods for communicating the Prevent products.
* Support both Operational and non-Operational divisions at the SFO.
* Maintain an up-to-date design brief, time plan and filing system.
* Present concepts and discuss progress with stakeholders, including the Prevent Head and/or Head of Graphics Unit, to ensure deadlines and design briefs are met.
* All SFO publications for internal and external events must adhere to the SFO style guide and you will ensure this is maintained across all products.
