Are you a creative, forward-thinking digital whizz with a passion for mental health advocacy? Do you know your way around Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok — and love using these platforms to tell powerful, engaging stories? This is an exciting opportunity to join Stable Minds CIC, an award-winning mental health organisation based in the heart of Knutsford.
At Stable Minds, we’re proud to run both a Children’s Centre and a welcoming Walk-In Mental Health Hub, providing essential services to individuals and families across Cheshire East. Our work is deeply rooted in the local community, and we’re now looking for someone who can help amplify our voice through impactful digital content and meaningful community engagement.
What you’ll do:
1. Work closely with our Directors to support and deliver our digital communications strategy.
2. Create and schedule engaging, high-quality content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
3. Bring fresh ideas and creativity to our campaigns while aligning with our organisational tone and mission.
4. Help grow our online following and increase reach, raising awareness of our services, events and community impact.
5. Be on-site at our centres and active in the community, capturing real stories, visuals and moments.
6. Support outreach activities to connect with diverse audiences and promote positive mental health messaging.
7. Monitor engagement and performance analytics to inform and refine content output.
Who we’re looking for:
1. Someone with strong knowledge and hands-on experience of key social media platforms and content planning tools.
2. A confident communicator who can create content that’s both sensitive and inspiring around mental health topics.
3. A motivated and reliable team player who enjoys being present in the community and building relationships.
4. A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a strong eye for design and detail.
Desirable:
1. Experience using scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Canva.
2. Knowledge of mental health issues and sensitivity around language and representation.
3. Basic photography or video editing skills (smartphone-based is fine!).
4. Experience working or volunteering within the community or third sector.
Why join Stable Minds CIC?
1. Be part of an award-winning, forward-thinking organisation with over 20 years of experience in mental health support.
2. Work in a supportive, values-led team that’s passionate about creating real change.
3. Gain experience across digital communications, mental health advocacy, and community engagement.
4. Make a visible difference in the lives of individuals and families across Cheshire East.
5. Flexible working arrangements considered to support work-life balance.
6. Part time role with scope to grow into full time.
This role involves being present on-site and out in the community. Are you comfortable working in-person and engaging with people in real-world settings?
What motivates you to work in the mental health sector, and why do you feel passionate about supporting community-based services like Stable Minds CIC?
